This Money Management Hack Saved My Life
I have reached a point in my life where I am tired of struggling to make ends meet. I am surronding my mind with a lot of material around money as a solution. Basically trying to figure out all the rules to this money thing I can.
On my quest, I came across a money management hack from T Harv Eker’s book Secrets of a millionaire mind. Prior to knowledge of this hack I had money for one second and the very next second it was gone. I didn’t seem to have enough money to do anything fun that I even convinced myself that fun activities were a waste of my hard earned money. It’s safe to say this money hack saved my life through giving me atleast some control over this thing that has been controlling me all my life!
Harv suggests that every shilling, dollar, pound… you receive (Salary, given to you, business etc) should be divided in these categories.
- 50% necessities
- 10% saving for investment
- 10% saving for lifetime
- 10% fun
- 10% education
- 10% giving.
He suggests that each of the last 5 categories should have independent accounts.
I have given this formula a try and it’s a joy to experience control over money in a way I did not know was possible for me. The best part is I can have fun without guilt, give without feeling like I am ignoring my personal needs and more importantly expand my mind by acquiring more books, courses or anything that I am curious about at a given moment.
Now you my friend, will you give it a try? Also if you have a money hack, resource that you suspect will help me in this quest, be a sweetie and share.
Above all, I thank you for stopping by,
Love + Light + Lot’s of Cash,
