Just like a little black dress, every woman must have a white dress for a hot day. Nothing quite celebrates the sunny season like fresh white cotton to reflect back the unwanted heat. A perfect white dress for me is one that’s long, flowy and oozes innocence from the wearer. 

The structure of this dress is everything I did not know I needed. Ruffles in the right places, a huge collar, a slit of appropriate length and to crown it all, a laced back to nip it at the waist

Versatility is a huge deal for me when shopping for items in my closet. This dress can go to Church, Brunch and the beach. It looks great with sandals as it does with heels.

Side bar; I cannot say the word beach without thinking about those that perished on Lake Victoria a few days ago, my thoughts and prayers are with those closely affected. May the beautiful lost souls rest in peace.
