I feel smartest when I am wearing a maximum of two colors yes, I am a proud member of the less is more family.

Brown is a classic color that I am ashamed to say I have been sleeping on however, the sleeping beauty has been awakened and all I can say is you’re not ready. (giggles) This awakening has something to do with the fact that brown has been trending color for about 6 months now. I am feeling browns in all hues at the moment, but the lighter tones are my favorite. I like to combine lighter browns with whites and creams because they make an effortlessly beautiful contrast that the eye can’t help but linger around with ease and for me, that is where the magic in every outfit lies.

It’s important when wearing a monochrome outfit to have a patterned item like the checkered jacket I am wearing to make it look artistic not flat. If you do not have a patterned piece, wear different hues of the same color to give it character. I added rose gold leather sneakers to achieve a Friday look.

Invest in jackets with character, they add sophistication to your outfits without trying.  I got mine from Thrift Shop Ug, they have great pre-loved pieces at the best rates.
